DiO's philosophy
DiO’s businesses are connected by one idea: turning the analog world into a digital world that is easy to understand and raises people’s satisfaction
- Ichigen-cho: aiming for an easy-to-use app for people of all ages
- BIM, 3D and equipment ledger / equipment DB: from new hires to the president of a factory or plant, everyone sees the current state of the site on the same screen, making it easier to spot issues
- Business partnership advisory: mainly consulting that turns the analog information of people’s work and lives into clear digital forms
- CAD for analog machines: services so that when an old machine without drawings fails, you can respond quickly
Core idea: make the “now” of equipment visible with quantification and evidence
Buildings and equipment can be made young again through maintenance, but eventually they decay
That is why DiO is researching and developing a way to build up the soundness (the actual degree of deterioration) of every piece of equipment in buildings and factories through calculations that show their basis, and to disclose the confidence of the results together with it
Presenting clearly the current condition of equipment (soundness and an indication of remaining life), which is hard to see from book figures alone, and supporting business leaders in taking on maintenance with the future in mind
This is one of the cores of our effort to turn the analog world into one that is easy to understand digitally
